Reverse.Gem's logo is a traditional Japanese pattern called "Seigaiha" (青海波). This literally means blue wave of the sea. It is a repetitive pattern of layered concentric circles creating arches which are symbolic of waves.
Founded in 2015 by Christina Sawka in Northern Eastern Japan. What began as a simple documentation of beachcombing finds, with the help of the many friends and the worldwide beachcombing community, has turned into a successful small business.
Community, Education, Innovation, Conservation.
As a keen collector of Japanese sea glass and sea pottery, Christina's desire is to share information and provide easy and affordable beachcombing solutions for the community.
She loves to create art through up-cycling beach treasures and to share the beauty and the value of the resources that surround us.
