Add to your Reverse Gem collection with this beautiful bowl covered in traditional Japanese patterns. It is dates back to the Meiji Era (1868-1912.  

 

This bowl would have originally been a ceramic pot (hibachi) which was used to hold the lit charcoal for lighting a pipe. They were used in households and formal occasions like tea ceremonies.
